The Dell Rapids Mudcats broke a 1-1 tie scoring nine times in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat the Humboldt/Hartford Gamecocks 10-1 on Sunday, June 11th in Dell Rapids.
The Mudcats scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the second. The Gamecocks tied the game after Cam Quigley scored on an error. The Mudcats big rally in the eighth started with three straight singles followed by a grand slam home run.
Humboldt/Hartford was held to just two hits. Micah Warrington and Cole Barthel both had a single in the game.
