Both the West Central Trojan girls and boys track teams placed fifth at the Quarrier Invite in Dell Rapids on Monday, May 8th. The boys team finished with 65 points, and the girls team had 63 points.
Bailey Stallman won the 1600m run. Tessa VanOverbeke took first in the high jump and third in the triple jump. Baylee Poss won the triple jump. Holly Berg was second in the triple jump. Drew Caffrey had a second place finish in the 3200m run. The 4x400m relay team of Leah Roe, Hadley Larson, Ryenn Caffrey, and Stallman had a fourth place finish.
Benjamin Strunk took first in the 1600m run and third in the 3200m run. Liam Schmeichel won the 110m hurdles. Dylan Stromer finished second in the high jump. The sprint medley relay team of Rylee Hartung, Preston Butts, Aiden Bartmann, and Gabe Gebhard placed second. Elliot DeJong placed third in the 400m dash. Mason Berens was fourth in the 200m dash.
