West Central Track Enjoys Some Top 5 Finishes at Howard Wood

The West Central Trojan track team took part in the Howard Wood Dakota Relays in Sioux Falls, which was held Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6th.  The Trojans had a few events that finished in the top five.

The girls 4x200m relay team of Emma Goehring, Rayna Goehring, Sadie Berg, and Molli Thornton finished first.  Thornton also placed fourth in the long jump.  The 4x100m relay team of Baylee Poss, R. Goehring, Tessa VanOverbeke, and Thornton took fifth place.

The boys team had two relay teams finish in the top five.  The 4x200m relay team of Preston Butts, Carter Schmeichel, Wyatt Nielsen, and Layton Johnson placed second.  The 4x400m relay team of Johnson, Schmeichel, Nielsen, and Jude Jarding also placed second.
