The West Central Trojan wrestling team traveled west for the Rapid City Invitational held Friday, December 9th and Saturday, December 10th. The boys team finished 19th with a total of 57 points.
Two wrestlers placed in the tournament. Justin Zirpel (170-pound) and Chet Carda (182-pound) placed sixth. Zirpel finished 3-3, while Carda finished 4-3.
Langdon Klinkhammer (13) and Connor Siemonsma (145) each had two wins. Alex Siemonsma (106), Orlando Whiting (126), Keaton Vessells (160), Gabe Gebhard (195), and Gavin Pischke (285) all finished 1-2. Jesse Jost (145) and Rayce Whiting (152) were both 0-2.
