The West Central Trojan girls and boys cross country teams both competed in the 2022 South Dakota Class A State Cross Country meet in Huron on Saturday, October 22nd. The girls team placed seventh overall with 130 points. The boys team was 10th with 161 points.
Brie Peters had a top 20 finish, placing 13th, with a time of 19:37.48. Bailey Stallman (41st) had a time of 20:54.88. Aubrey Borns (53rd) finished in 21:19.15. Lucy Rozeboom (74th) completed in 21:40.87. Maelee Krempges (86th) had a time of 21:59.48, and Ellie McDonald (112th) finished in 23:36.65.
Benjamin Strunk finished 24th with a time of 17:19.60. Jacob Peterson (43rd) had a time of 18:05.26. Johnathon Roth (63rd) completed in 18:31.76. Griffin Stallman (77th) had a time of 18:54.38. Kyper Hilger (89th) finished in 19:10.06, and Kade Hruby (109th) finished in 19:45.87.
