Tri-Valley Maroon scored 10 times in the bottom of the sixth inning to help them to a 17-7 win over West Central on Thursday, July 11th.
West Central scored three runs in the top of the first inning. Tri-Valley got one run back for a 3-1 score. After a scoreless second inning, Tri-Valley took the lead in the bottom of third, 5-3, with four runs. West Central pulled within a run, 5-4, with a plated run in the top of the fifth. Tri-Valley extended the lead to 7-4 with two runs in the bottom of the inning. West Central tied the game with a three-run top of the sixth. Tri-Valley then had their big ten-run inning in the bottom of the sixth.
Tristen Bunde had three hits and four RBIs. Parker Hemme finished with two doubles and three RBIs. Treyson Ricther added two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Brody Dybvig had two hits and an RBI. Alex Wingen had a double with three RBIs. Mason Hemme and Parker Atwood each had a single and an RBI. Kaiden Bernards added a single, and Gage Egger had an RBI.
Denton Bicknase pitched three innings and allowed an unearned run on two hits and two walks with two strikeouts. M. Hemme pitched two innings and allowed three earned runs on a hit and three walks and three strikeouts.
