Tri-Valley Boys Fall after Strong Second Half by Milbank

The Tri-Valley Mustangs (4-12) only trailed by three points at halftime, but a strong second half by the Milbank Bulldogs gave them a 67-44 win on Saturday, February 11th.

Milbank held a 18-13 lead at the end of the first quarter.  Tri-Valley cut the lead to 32-29 at halftime, but the Milbank Bulldogs went on a roll in the second half.  The Bulldogs outscored Tri-Valley 23-10 in the third quarter and led 55-39 going into the fourth quarter.

Tri-Valley shot 35% (13-37) from the field overall, 0-10 on three-point attempts, and 60% (18-30) from the free-throw line.  Milbank was 47% (22-47) shooting, 33% (6-18) on three-point attempts, and 81% (17-21) from the free-throw line.

Noah Haynes had 15 points and four rebounds.  Logan Ellison added eight points three rebounds.  Tristan Bunde finished with seven points and two rebounds.  Trey Johnson had five points.
