Panthers Cruise to 62nd Straight Victory with Win over Mustangs

The Dakota Valley Panthers won their 62nd straight game after an 86-53 win over the Tri-Valley Mustangs on Friday, January 19th.

Dakota Valley put 29 points on the board in the opening quarter and led 29-16 going into the second.  The Panthers pushed their lead to 54-31 at halftime.  Dakota Valley then outscored Tri-Valley 32-22 in the second half.

The Mustangs shot 38% (21-56) overall in the game, 26% (5-19) from three-point area, and 55% (6-11) from the free-throw line.  The Panthers were 59% (30-51) shooting overall, 54% (13-24) from three-point area, and 77% (13-17) from the free-throw line.

Trey Johnson finished with 14 points, two rebounds, and three assists.  Carter Sorenson added 11 points, four rebounds, and five assists.  Alex Wingen had seven points.  Logan Ellison had five points and two assists.
