Mustang Softball Continues to Roll

The Tri-Valley Mustang softball team remained unbeaten after another big win.  They defeated the McCook Central/Montrose Cougars 16-1 on Thursday, April 17th.

The Cougars scored the first run of the game in the top of the first inning, but that was about all the offense they would get.  Tri-Valley took the lead with three runs in the bottom of the inning.  They added four runs in the second and three more in the third for a 10-1 lead.  The Mustangs ended the game on the 15-run rule in the bottom of the fourth with six more runs.

Izzy Davey had three hits, two doubles and a triple, with four RBIs.  Syenna Halverson had two hits.  Hailey Sorenson added a double and an RBI.  Emry Jones had a single with an RBI.  Ava Christensen ended with a double.  Kadence Davey and Reagan Pearson both had one single each.  Jones pitched three innings and allowed an unearned run on a hit with six strikeouts.  I. Davey pitched one inning and allowed two hits with one strikeout.
