Mustang Girls Suffer Home Loss to Tea

A near perfect first quarter set the tone for the Tea Area Titans girls team against Tri-Valley on Thursday, December 14th.  The Titans missed just two shots in the first quarter while building a 25-6 lead.  Their lead extended to 42-16 at halftime and 57-24 after the third quarter.  Tea took the win 67-41.

Tri-Valley shot 27% (12-44) overall, 26% (6-23) on three-point attempts, and 73% (11-15) from the free-throw line.  Tea finished the game shooting 59% (22-37) overall, 53% (8-15) on three-point shots, and 88% (15-17) from the free-throw line.

Lauren Grinde had 14 points and two assists.  Mattie Huwe ended with seven points and two rebounds.  Jaidyn McMillen, Elizabeth Davey, Madelyn Wenzel, and Danika Fluth all had three points each.  Wenzel also had three rebounds and two steals.
