Mustang Girls Finish Regular Season with Third Straight Win

The Tri-Valley Mustang girls ended their 2023-2024 season with some momentum.  They won their third straight game with a 58-28 win over the Baltic Bulldogs at home on Friday, February 16th.

Tri-Valley led from start to finish in the game.  They got out to a 17-3 lead by the end of the first quarter.  The Mustang lead was 33-12 by halftime.  Tri-Valley continued to roll in the second half outscoring the Bulldogs 25-16 in the final two quarters.

The Mustangs shot 39% (21-54) from the field overall, 26% (6-23) on three-point shots, and 56% (10-18) from the free-throw line.  Baltic finished the game shooting 27% (9-34) overall, 33% (3-9) from three-point area, and 64% (7-11) from the free-throw line.

Lauren Grinde finished with 12 points and three assists.  Mattie Huwe added 10 points and four rebounds.  Elizabeth Davey had six points, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Jaidyn McMillen, Madelyn Wenzel, Emery Pearson, and Abigail Wagner all had four points each.  Pearson and Wenzel both had four rebounds each.  Wenzel also added five steals.
