Tri-Valley Football Returns to 11B for 2022 Season

The Tri-Valley Mustang football team will look to build on a 5-5 2021 season this year while making the move back to class 11B.  The Mustangs finished last season with a 5-4 regular season and lost in the opening round of the playoffs to Vermillion.

The 2022 Mustangs return nine starters from last year’s team:  Eli McFarland, Austin McNulty, Logan Ellison, Lawson Loisaeu, Carter Sorenson, Mason Hendrixson, Isaac Nehlich, Hunter Plueger, and Owen Neeley.  They will also look to other seniors Holden Rise, Dustin Sees, Austin Devries, Landon Bartels, and Lorenzo Sebastian for leadership.

“Our work ethic is outstanding.  We had a very productive off season in the weight room and on the track.  Several players have played or will play multiple positions and do it very well,” said head coach Dan Snethen.

The Mustangs open the 2022 season with a big match-up against the Winner Warriors on Friday, August 19th, at home.
