The Tri-Valley Mustang track teams took part in the Terry Bong Invite in Canton on Thursday, May 1st. The boys placed fourth as a team with 63 points. The girls team finished fifth with 35 points.
Carly Rickenbaugh won the 300m hurdles with a time of :51.0 and placed third in the 100m hurdles in :17.18. Emery Pearson was third in the discus with a throw of 108’00”. Katrina Fluth took third in the high jump with a leap of 4’6″. Tyler Gibson finished fifth in the 400m dash in 1:07.89. Lauren Dittbenner placed fifth in the 300m hurdles with a time of :57.48. The 4x100m relay team of Dittbenner, Danika Fluth, Haleigh Wallenstein, and K. Fluth was fifth in :55.70.
Owen Effling won the 100m dash in :11.71, just beating out Brody Dybvig. Dybvig was second in :11.72. Corven Jensen was third in the 100m dash in :11.88. Isaiah Kendig took third in the 400m dash with a time of :53.41. Cole Hendrixson took third in the high jump at 5’6″. The 4x400m relay team of Eli Kendig, Landyn Reiser, Brady Jewet, and Bennett Hickenbotham was second in 3:50.44. The sprint medley relay team of Colby McAreavey, Noah Egger, Eli Lien, and Kendig also took second with a time of 4:04.78.
