The Tri-Valley Mustang volleyball team hosted the Dakota Valley Panthers on Tuesday, September 3rd. The Panthers took the match in straight sets.
The Panthers started the match with a 4-0 run. They extended their lead to 9-1. Dakota Valley continued their run through the first set and won 25-8. Tri-Valley regrouped for the second set. The Mustangs broke a 3-3 tie and took a 5-3 lead. Dakota Valley tied the score 7-7 and then went on a 10-5 run for a 17-12 lead. The Mustangs rallied and tied the set 19-19, but the Panthers finished on a 6-1 run for a 25-20 win.
The Panthers started the third set on a 4-0 run. The Mustangs pulled within a point, 9-8, but Dakota Valley went on a 7-1 run for a 16-9 lead. They finished the match with a 25-12 set win.
