The full court pressure by the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers caused a lot of troubles for the Quarriers on Tuesday, January 10th. The pressure led to big runs to start each of the first three quarters as the Chargers won 56-21.
Sioux Falls Christian started the first quarter on a 10-0 run, started the second quarter with a 16-0 run, and then started the third quarter on an 11-0 run. The Chargers led 13-3 at the end of the first quarter, 35-13 at halftime, and 52-17 at the end of the third quarter.
Claire Wynja had eight points, one rebound, and one assist. Clara Justice had six points and four rebounds. Jenna Miller ended with three points and four rebounds. Both Elly Olson and Liz Price added two points and five rebounds each.
JV Results – Coach Huska Update
Another cold night of shooting plagued the Quarrier JV basketball team as they were defeated by Sioux Falls Christian by a score of 12-56, Tuesday night at the SFC gym. Mya DeStigter had four points. Shelby Welbig had four points and four rebounds. Tori Malsam finished with three points and three rebounds. Ellen Buch had one point. Peyton Hohn finished with four rebounds and four blocked shots.
