Quarrier Track Teams Finish Fourth at Canton Relays

The Dell Rapids Quarrier track teams took part in the Canton Relays on Monday, April 20th.  Both the girls and boys teams finished fourth.  The girls team had 83.5 points, and the boys team ended with 79.33 points.

Rorie Thoreson won the 800m dash with a time of 2:20.19.  Addy Witte took the top spot in the 1600m run in 6:08.65.  Vivica Kreul took second in the discus with a throw of 112’7″.  Madelynn Henry finished third in the high jump at 4’8″.  Liz Vogel finished third in the 1600m run in 6:34.95.  The 4x100m relay team of Alania Wolff, Claire Witte, Josie Price, and Henry won with a time of :52.35.  The 4x200m relay team of Zadie Frederiksen, C. Witte, Price, and Aspen Zweifel won in 1:52.52.  The 4x400m relay team of Wolff, Zweifel, Brielle Hilmoe, and Thoreson also took the time spot with a time of 4:12.99.

Levi Peter was second in the discus with a throw of 132’1″.  Jackson Peppel was second in the javelin at 160’3″.  Eli Gullickson took second in the triple jump with a jump of 36’7.5″.  Alex Heinemann placed third with an 800m run in 2:28.88.  Camden Tebay finished third in the 1600m run with a time of 5:01.23.  The 4x200m relay team of Ryan Baker, Behr Peckenpaugh, Peppel, and Connor Hanson won in a time of 1:34.31.  The sprint medley relay team of Knox Cuny, Haiden Kaffar, Nolan Carstensen, and Tebay also won with a time of 4:05.46.
