The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team traveled to Garretson for the Jesse James Track Meet on Saturday, April 12th.
Rorie Thoreson placed second in the 400m dash in a time of 1:01.28. The 4x800m relay team of Taylor Schmidt, Liz Vogel, Brielle Hilmoe, and Thoreson was second in a time of 10:52.05. Schmidt was third in the 800m run in 2:41.09. Vivica Kreul placed third in the discus (99’6″) and third in the javelin (91’10”). The 4x400m relay team of Josie Price, Jersi Schultz, Kirti Pickard, and Hilmoe took fourth with a time of 4:40.83. Price placed fourth in the 300m hurdles in :56.14.
The 4x200m relay team of Behr Peckenpaugh, Kane Murphy, Jackson Peppel, and Connor Hanson finished second in a time of 3:45.69. Beckett Nelson took third in the javelin with a throw of 111’7″. Carson Maeschen finished fourth in the shot put in 46’2″. The 4x100m relay team of Peckenpaugh, Nick Snyder, Ryan Baker, and Will Ronshaugen was fourth in :47.40.
