The Dell Rapids Quarrier wrestling teams competed in the West Central Triangular in Hartford on Thursday, January 16th. The other team in the event was Beresford/Alcester-Hudson.
Elly Murphy was the lone wrestler for the girls. She split two matches against Beresford/Alcester-Hudson and also split two matches against West Central. Murphy finished 2-2 on the night with two pins.
The boys team lost both of their duals. The Quarriers fell to Beresford/Alcester-Hudson 57-18 and also fell to West Central 64-18. Charlie Becker captured two pins on the night. Breck Evans, Kane Murphy, and Quinn Carr each had one pin.
