Tri-Valley scored in all four innings in the game on Tuesday. They scored three in the bottom of the first, four in the second, three in the third, and then five in the bottom of the fourth to end the game on the 15-run rule.
Rhett Thoreson had two hits in the game. Eli Gullickson, Lucas Peppel, and Asher Carpenter all had one hit each.
West Central Royal 11, Dell Rapids 10
West Central held off a rally by Dell Rapids to earn the win on Wednesday. They started the game with four runs in the top of the first and two in the second for a 6-0 lead. Dell Rapids scored four times in the bottom of the fifth to make the score 6-4. West Central scored five times in the top of the seventh for an 11-4 lead, and they needed every one of those runs. Dell Rapids rallied for six runs in the bottom of the seventh and had the bases loaded with two outs. A fly out to first base ended the game.
Thoreson had three hits, including a double, and an RBI. Andrew Schoeberl and Gullickson both had two singles and an RBI each. Charlie Bollock added a single and two RBIs. Cutler Erickson finished with a hit and an RBI. Peppel had two RBIs, and Owen Bollock and one RBI.
