The Dell Rapids 14U baseball team earned a shut out win on the road against Canton Gold on Wednesday, June 21st.
Dell Rapids scored in every inning but one during the game. They got two runs in the first,s two in the second, one in the third, two in the fifth, and six runs in the sixth in their 13-0 victory.
Thomas LaVoy had four hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Luke Symens also had four hits, including a double, and two RBIs. Jake Heinitz had a single and two RBIs. Andrew Schoeberl finished with a hit and an RBI. Jackson Peppel had a hit. Magnus Narigon had two RBIs, and Gage Bunkers had one RBI. Symens pitched three innings and allowed three hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Rhett Thoreson also pitched three innings and allowed two hits and a walk with three strikeouts.
