The Dell Rapids Quarrier volleyball team finished 4-0 at the Huron Classic on Saturday, August 29th..
In their opening match, Dell Rapids defeated Sturgis in straight sets by scores of 25-20 and 25-9. They faced Spearfish next and also won in straight sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-18. The Quarriers took on the Mitchell Kernals in their third match. They also won in straight sets by scores of 25-23 and 25-14. The final match of the day was against Brandon Valley. Dell Rapids needed three sets to get the win over the Lynx. They won by scores of 17-25, 25-15 and 25-19.
Madelynn Henry finished with 53 kills, 23 digs, and four ace serves for the day. Sylea Sykes added 27 kills, 24 digs, and six ace serves. Jersi Schultz had 12 kills and four blocks. Alaina Wolff had 34 digs and five ace serves. Tenley Anderson had 85 set assists along with 17 digs and three ace serves. Tenley Witzel had 27 digs.
