Dell Rapids Track Travels to Lennox for Rich Luther Relays

The Dell Rapids Quarrier track teams traveled to Lennox for the Rich Luther Relays on Tuesday, May 5th.

Rorie Thoreson took second in the 1600m run with a time of 5:15.89.  Elizabeth Krantz was fifth in the long jump at 15’5.5″ and fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 32’2.5″.  Clarie Witte placed fifth in the high jump with a jump of 4’10”.  The 4x200m relay team of Krantz, Zadie Frederiksen, Emily Baker, and Josie Price placed third with a time of 1:55.55.  The 4x100m relay team of Krantz, Kendal Mergen, Frederiksen, and Baker was fourth in :54.82.

Jackson Peppel won the javelin with a throw of 156’8″, finished fourth in the long jump at 20’4.5″, and took fifth in the 200m dash in :23.20.  Karson Paye placed third in the high jump at 5’10”.  Kaden Smith was fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 37’6.5″.  The 4x800m relay team of Camden Tebay, Tayden Johnson, Isaac Ryks, and Alex Heinemann won with a time of 9:30.30.  The 4x200m relay team of Eli Gullickson, Parker Wheeler, Gavin LeBahn, and Lucas Peppel placed third with a time of 1:47.72.  The 4x100m relay team of Ryan Baker, Behr Peckenpaugh, Anthony Osborne, and J. Peppel finished fourth in :46.59.
