The Dell Rapids Quarrier wrestling teams took part in the Les Tlustos Invite in Brooking on Saturday, January 31st.
The girls team finished with 20 points overall. Josie Becker took third with a 2-1 record. Elly Murphy placed sixth with a 2-3 record. Ila Hansen placed eighth with an 0-3 record. Ava Zachman and Chloe Staskywicz both finished 0-2.
The boys team had 51.5 points on the day. Breck Evans had a second-place finish in the 175-pound division with a 3-1 record. Camden Tebay (132) took fifth with a 3-2 tournament record. Charlie Becker (285) was seventh with a 3-2 record.
Jackson LeBrun (113) and Zach Grochow (144) each finished 1-2 for the day. Asher Carpenter (120), Charlie Person (138), and Peyton Grib (150) were all 0-2.
