The Dell Rapids Quarrier wrestling team will return four state qualifiers from a year ago for the 2025-2026 season.
The girls team will not have any seniors this year but return freshman Josie Becker as a two-time state qualifier and junior Chloe Staskywicz.
“We have a growing girls team that is going to put some quality wrestling on the mat. I expect to see some great things from this group!” said head coach Nick Person.
The boys team return freshmen Camden Tebay and Breck Evans and eighth-grader Charlie Person this year as state qualifiers from a year ago.
“This group of boys is young but tenacious. They have been putting work in all off season and have been pushing each other to reach that next level. That hard work and dedication will show when we stop on the mat this season!” added Coach Person.
The Quarriers will start the season with their annual “Top of the Rock” Tournament on Saturday, December 6th.
