The Dell Rapids Quarrier track teams participated in their first meet of the season on Monday, April 7th. The Quarriers traveled to Brookings for the Scott Underwood Invite at South Dakota State University.
Rorie Thoreson placed fourth in the 1600m run with a time of 5:26.08. Elizabeth Krantz was fifth in the triple jump at 9.64m. Clara Justice took seventh in the 100m hurdles with a time of :16.60. The 4x400m relay team of Alaina Wolff, Jersi Schultz, Josie Price and Brielle Hilmoe finished eighth in a time of 4:29.73.
Will Ronshaugen was fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 12.32m. Carson Maeschen placed eighth in the shot put with a throw of 13.80m. The 4x100m relay team of Behr Peckenpaugh, Nick Snyder, Ryan Baker, and Kenny Swanson finished 10th in a time of :46.63. The 4x200m relay team of Peckenpaugh, Breck Evans, Jackson Peppel, and Baker also finished 10th in a time of 1:40.43.
