Good Experience Returns for Quarrier Girls Track

The Dell Rapids Quarrier girls track team had four top 10 finishes at the state meet last season and five seniors that contributed to the program.  The Quarriers, however, still return good experience this season, and head coach Steve Hansen expects some big things this season.

Dell Rapids will have two seniors this year, Clara Justice and Elly Olson.  Justice competed in three events in the state meet a year ago.  Rorie Thoreson, Vivica Kreul, Elizabeth Krantz, Alaina Wolff, Brielle Hilmoe, Taylor Schmidt, and Kirti Pickard all return with state meet experience.

“We have a great bunch of girls that are awesome to work with.  We have some talented young girls that are going to help and hopefully establish themselves in the program.  It’s going to be a fun year, and I am excited to get it going,” said Hansen.
