Dell Rapids Softball Returns Talented Group

The Dell Rapids Quarriers are coming off a 16-3 season and a third place finish at the state tournament a year ago.  Despite graduating nine seniors from last year’s team and having a new head coach, Dell Rapids has set ambitious goals for the 2025 season.

Meghan Daffern takes over as the head coach for Dell Rapids this year.  “We have an incredibly talented group of athletes.  From day one these girls have demonstrated their determination and readiness for another chance at a state title.  Their hard work, dedication, and team spirit make me confident that they will excel both on and off the field.  I can’t wait to see what they accomplish this season,” she said.

The Quarriers will look to six seniors to lead this year’s team.  They are Addison Van’t Hof, Elly Olson, Katie Kvigne, Kayleigh Gillette, Paige Trewin, and Rylee Halverson.

Dell Rapids has home games currently scheduled for April 4th, 15th, 22nd, and 24th, along with May 8th and 20th.
