Quarrier Boys Track Team Has Big Shoes to Fill in 2025

Dell Rapids Quarrier boys head coach, Eric Koithan, said this year’s team has big shoes to fill.  Last year the Quarriers boys took first in the 4×100 and 4×200 meter relays.  They also finished fourth in the 4×400 meter relay, and Mason Stubbe took fourth in the long jump.

This year’s team returns many key seniors.  Will Ronshaugen, Grady Lamer, Nick Snyder, Cole Ruesink, Jackson Peppel, Alex Heinemann, and Isaac Tudor all return with as state qualifiers from a year ago.

“I have high expectations for the upcoming season.  I really want to see us qualify for all relay events again this season.  I would also like to see multiple podium finishes at the state track meet for our relay teams.  We have some athletes that have been on the team since I started coaching, and I know they will bring a lot of energy to their final season,” said Koithan.
