The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys wrestling team finished eighth as a team at the Region 1A Tournament at West Central High School on Saturday, February 22nd. Dell Rapids finished with 72 points. Four wrestlers qualified for state by placing fourth or better.
Quinn Carr won the 215-pound class with a 3-0 record, all three wins by a pin. Camden Tebay (126) took fourth with a 2-2 record. Charlie Person (132) also placed fourth with a 2-2 record. Breck Evans (165) had a fourth-place finish with a 2-2 record.
Kane Murphy finished fifth with a 2-2 record. Asher Carpenter (106) placed sixth with an 0-3 record. Zach Grochow (138) had an 0-2 record on the day.
