The Groton Tigers grew their lead throughout each of the quarters in a 67-41 win over the Dell Rapids Quarriers at the Dak-12/NEC Conference Clash in Madison on Saturday, February 1st.
The Tigers led by five points at the end of the first quarter, 16-11. They were able to extend that lead to 33-21 by halftime. The Groton offense continued to play strong in the third quarter. They outscored Dell Rapids 20-12 to push the lead to 53-33 going into the fourth quarter. Groton also outscored the Quarriers 14-8 in the final quarter.
Karson Paye finished with 11 points and three rebounds. Jack Kloth had nine points and seven rebounds. Lincoln Anderson also had nine points. Tad Tjaden added seven points and six rebounds.
