Head coach Erica Fersdahl earned her 100th victory as the Dell Rapids Quarrier head coach on Thursday, November 7th. The Quarriers hosted and defeated the West Central Trojans in straight sets to advance to the SoDak 16.
Dell Rapids opened the match with a 6-0 run, which set the tone for the entire night. The Quarriers extended their lead to 12-2 and then 20-7 before winning the first set 25-9. The second set started with a 4-1 run by Dell Rapids. They kept building on the lead all set long. The Quarriers led 10-6, 15-8, and 19-9. They would finish the second set with a 6-0 run for the 25-9 win. The third set started with an amazing 17 straight points by the Quarriers. They would win the final set 25-5.
Dell Rapids will play Aberdeen Roncalli in the SoDak 16 on Tuesday, November 11th.
