The 2024 Dell Rapids Quarrier cross country team returns one state qualifier from a year ago. Rorie Thoreson returns after placing 15th in the state meet a year ago.
Thoreson will be joined by seniors Isaac Tudor and Adah Cavigielli. Head coach Eric Koithan mentioned that the team expects Alex Heinemann to also be a leader on the team.
“I have high expectations for the future. The majority of our team is middle schoolers. Especially have seen a ton of grit out of the middle school boys this offseason,” added Koithan.
