The Dell Rapids Quarrier softball team traveled to Worthing to play Canton in their final regular season game on Saturday, May 18th. The Quarriers scored 12 times in the first inning and cruised from there to a 22-0 win in three innings. Dell Rapids added five runs in the second and five more in the third while holding Canton to just one hit.
Jaycee Tebay had four hits, two of them doubles, with four RBIs. Claire Wynja had two triples and four RBIs. Kylie Lebahn added two hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Kylee Fiddelke had a double and three RBIs. Lexi Ingalls, Makaylah O’Meara, Katie Kvigne, Rylee Halverson, and Lexi Scherff all had a single and an RBI each. Paige Trewin had a double.
Kvigne pitched one inning and struck out all three batters. Trewin pitched two innings and allowed one hit with three strikeouts.
