The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys and girls wrestling teams took part in the Madison Invitational on Saturday, December 16th. The boys team finished 12th with a total of 49 points. The girls team had a 15th place finish with a total of 34 points.
John Mortrude had a third place finish in the 144-pound class. Mortrude recorded four pins and a decision win. Quinn Carr also had a third place finish in the 215-pound class. Carr had three pins on the day. Mason Stubbe took sixth in the 190-pound class with a pin and a decision win.
For the girls team, Chloe Staskywicz finished second with a pin and a decision win. Bailey Credeur had a sixth place finish with one pin on the day. Josie Becker also placed sixth in her weight division with two pins. Rylee Bird, Mikayla Hight, and Kayleigh Gillette also took part in the tournament.
