The Dell Rapids Quarrier volleyball team traveled to Lennox for the Dak-12 Conference tournament on Saturday, October 14th. The Quarriers finished with a 2-1 record at the tournament.
The Quarriers played Elk Point-Jefferson to start the day. Dell Rapids won in straight sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-21. Madelynn Henry had 12 kills, two ace serves, four set assists, and eight digs. Lauryn Kloth had eight kills and a block. Kylee Fiddelke also had eight kills. Sophi Randall added five kills, two blocks, four digs, and 28 set assists. Karlie Ingalls had seven digs, and Alaina Wolff had four.
Dell Rapids then faced the Lennox Orioles. Lennox won the match by scores of 25-22 and 27-25. Kloth had eight kills, two ace serves, and a block. Henry also had eight kills, an ace serve, and a dig. Elin Schoenhard had two kills. Randall finished with 13 set assists, three digs, and a block.
In the final match of the day, the Quarriers defeated the Dakota Valley Panthers in straight sets by scores of 25-22 and 25-21. Henry had five kills, three ace serves, a block, and a dig. Kloth finished with three kills, two blocks, and two digs. Schoenhard had two kills and an ace. Randall added two kills, three ace serves, a block, five digs, and 10 set assists. Wolff had a team-high 11 digs.
