The Dell Rapids Mudcats won their final regular season game on Thursday, July 6th. The Mudcats defeated Colman by a score of 8-1.
The Mudcats broke a scoreless tie with a four-run fifth inning. Colman got a run in the top of the sixth. Dell Rapids would add two more in the bottom of the sixth and two runs in the bottom of the seventh.
Ty Hoglund had two hits, one a triple, and an RBI. Spencer Freudenthal had two hits and an RBI. Kole Zimmerman ended with two hits, one a double. Logan stone also had two hits. Mark Abrahamson had a home run and an RBI. Landon Ruesink ended with a triple and two RBIs. Kris Regas had a hit, and Grant Olson finished with an RBI.
Regas pitched eight innings and allowed one run on three hits with 15 strikeouts. Dusty Haffeman pitched one inning and did not allow a hit.
