Coaches Have Higher Expectations for Quarrier Boys Track Team This Season

The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys track team finished ninth in the Dak XII meet, had two relay teams qualify for state, and Gunnar Chamley took home the conference title and six place finish in the discus at that state meet in 2022.  This season the coaches have higher expectations.

“I have higher expectations for our Quarrier team this year.  Our roster jumped from 24 to 40 athletes, so we’ll be able to keep the legs fresh and shoot for a higher conference placing,” said head coach Eric Koithan.

Dell Rapids will be led by seniors Chamley, Owen Nelson, Chase Jones, Camden Justice, Evan Nelson, Braden Fersdahl, and Ethan Ten Eyck.
