The Dell Rapids Quarrier boys led start to finish in a 76-43 win over the Milbank Bulldogs on Saturday, January 14th. This was the fourth home win of the season for Dell Rapids.
The Quarriers built a 27-12 lead at the end of the first quarter and extended the lead to 41-27 by halftime. Dell Rapids continued to roll in the third quarter and led 63-33 heading into the final quarter.
Dell Rapids shot 52% (32-61) overall from the field, 44% (7-16) from three-point area, and 45% (5-11) from the free-throw line. Milbank shot 37% (15-41) overall, 38% (5-13) from the three-point area, and 50% (8-16) from the free-throw line.
Brayden Pankonen had 27 points, four assists, and three steals. Luke Randall added 10 points and four rebounds. Jack Henry finished with nine points, six assists, and six steals. Rhett Kloth had eight points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots. Camden Justice ended with seven points and four rebounds.
