Quarrier Cross Country Looking to Grow and Develop in 2022

Many of the Dell Rapids Quarrier cross country athletes hit personal best times towards the end of last season, and head coach Eric Koithan said that they are looking to take that positive energy into this season.

Liz Price and Adisen Stadem are two of the senior girls that Coach Koithan is expecting to lead the team this fall.  “They both bring good energy and fun to the team, as well as a hard work ethic,” said Koithan.

“My expectation for this upcoming season is to continue to grow and develop this team to focus on character development first, and competition second.  Running teaches us perseverance, strength, mental toughness, and how to rebound from disappointment.  Those life lessons are invaluable when compared to a time written down on a sheet,” added Koithan.

The Quarriers have their first meet on Friday, August 26th in Beresford
