The Beresford Watchdogs (9-3) boys winning streak reached five after a 58-40 win over the Irene/Wakonda Eagles on Tuesday, January 24th.
The Watchdogs slowly built their lead throughout the game. They ended the first quarter leading 13-12. The lead grew to five points, 26-21, by halftime. Beresford then pushed the lead to nine points, 38-29, going into the fourth quarter. The Watchdogs put the game away in the final three minutes.
Tate VanOtterloo had 24 points and seven rebounds. Andrew Atwood finished with nine points and seven rebounds. Aiden Hamm added seven points. Jake Goblirsch had six points, 13 rebounds, and four steals. Malachi James also had six points along with five rebounds.
