The Beresford Watchdog girls snapped a three-game skid with a 55-29 win over the Parker Pheasants on Friday, January 3rd.
The Watchdogs opened the game on a 6-0 run and built a 10-2 lead by the end of the first quarter. They started the second quarter on another 6-0 run to increase their lead to 16-2. Beresford ended the first half leading 24-10. Parker got within 10 points early in the third quarter, but the Watchdogs then went on a run. They ended the third quarter leading 45-22. Beresford also outscored Parker 10-6 in the final quarter.
Ella Merriman finished with 21 points and five steals. Harley Koth added 13 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Lily Seivert had nine points, five rebounds, and four steals. Makiah Sharpe ended with six points.
