The Beresford Watchdog girls played their final regular season game in Lennox on Tuesday, February 13th. Lennox took advantage of stretches of cold shooting by Beresford, and the Orioles won 56-39.
The game was tied 7-7 with 2:30 to play in the opening quarter, but Lennox finished the first on a 5-0 run for a 12-7 lead. Beresford got within two points, 13-11, with 6:30 to play in the second quarter. They would score only two more points in the half, and Lennox led 22-13 at halftime. The Orioles would add to their lead again in the third quarter and led 36-23 heading into the fourth.
Lily Seivert finished with eight points, five rebounds, and two steals. Harley Koth had seven points, two rebounds, and two steals. Ella Merriman also had seven points with four rebounds and four steals. Kendra Ellis added four points. Hanah Colford, Ashlynn Olson, and Keely Merrigan all had three points each.
