The Beresford Watchdog girls suffered their third straight loss after hosting the Hanson Beaverettes on Monday, February 12th. Hanson took the win 63-45.
After an 8-8 tie early in the first quarter, Hanson went on an 10-2 run for an 18-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Beaverettes continued to roll offensively in the second quarter and built a 32-18 lead by halftime. They went on a run to start the third quarter to go ahead by 20 points and maintained that lead throughout the end of the game.
Ella Merriman had 14 points and two steals. Lily Seivert finished with 10 points and six rebounds. Harley Koth added eight points, four rebounds, and three steals. Kendra Ellis had seven points, three rebounds, and five steals. Hanah Colford had four points.
