Ten days after playing the Garretson Blue Dragons in the Big East Conference Tournament, the Beresford Watchdogs traveled to Garretson for a rematch on Tuesday, February 6th. This time the Blue Dragons got the win by a score of 45-37.
The Watchdogs finished the opening quarter with a one-point lead, 12-11. Garretson was able to get the lead in the second quarter and led 23-19 at halftime. Beresford cut the lead to just one point, 30-31 going into the fourth quarter. The Blue Dragons, however, would outscore Beresford 14-6 in the final quarter for the win.
Ella Merriman had 18 points, four rebounds, and five steals. Harley Koth added six points and 10 rebounds. Lily Seivert also had six points in the game. Hanah Colford had three points, three rebounds, and three steals. Makiah Sharpe also had three points with four rebounds.
