The Beresford Watchdog girls cruised to victory over the Alcester-Hudson Cubs at home on Sunday, February 3rd. Beresford took the win 63-32.
The Cubs trailed by nine points after the first quarter, 19-10. Beresford then held Alcester-Hudson to just one point in the second quarter while building a 35-11 halftime lead. The Watchdogs continued rolling in the second half and outscored the Cubs 16-8 in the third quarter for a 51-19 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Ella Merriman had 19 points, four rebounds, and five steals. Lily Seivert finished wtih 17 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Harley Koth added 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Cassie Twedt had six points, two rebounds, and two assists.
