The Flandreau Fliers outscored the Beresford Watchdogs by 14 points in the second half to help them to a 71-45 victory on Thursday, December 14th.
Beresford found themselves trailing 21-13 by the end of the first quarter. Flandreau extended their lead to 12 points, 39-27, at halftime. The third quarter is where the Fliers got a lot of separation from the Watchdogs. Flandreau outscored Beresford 19-8 in the third quarter for a 58-35 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Andrew Atwood finished with 17 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Malachi James had nine points and six rebounds. Cooper Nelson also had nine points along with four rebounds. Tiegen Nyhaug finished with six points.
