Beresford Girls Suffers Loss in First Road Game of Season

The Beresford Watchdog girls basketball team had their first road game of the season on Thursday, December 14th.  The Watchdogs traveled to Flandreau, and the Fliers got the win by a score of 62-37.

The Fliers built a 13-point lead, 23-10, by the end of the first quarter.  Flandreau extended the lead to 40-22 by halftime.  The Watchdogs only scored six points in the third quarter as Flandreau extended the lead to 58-28 going into the final quarter.

Ella Merriman had 18 points and three steals.  Harley Koth finished with seven points and five rebounds.  Hanah Colford and Kylie Mockler both had three points each.  Larissa Lyle added two points and three rebounds.  Cassie Twedt had two points and six rebounds.
