The Baltic Bulldog softball team suffered a 16-1 road loss to the Castlewood Warriors on Friday, May 1st.
Ashlyn Klein had an RBI ground out to score Skylar Wehde in the top of the first to give Baltic an early 1-0 lead. It was all Castlewood after that. The Warriors scored three runs in the bottom of the first and then nine runs in the second for a 12-1. The game ended on the 15-run rule in the bottom of the third after Castlewood scored four more times.
Anna Hoekman had two hits in the game. Kya Rollinger and Madyson Determan each had one hit. Klein finished with an RBI. Charlee Blommer pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed 10 runs, six earned, on nine hits with one strikeout. Klein pitched 2/3 of an inning and allowed six runs, just one earned, on three hits and a walk.
