The Baltic Bulldog softball team earned two shutout wins in Centerville on Monday, April 20th. They defeated the Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Raiders 16-0 and then beat the Centerville Tornadoes 12-0.

Ashlyn Klein pitched a perfect three innings of not allowing a base runner and striking out all nine batters. The Bulldogs scored 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning and belted out 19 total hits in their win over the Raiders. They scored six more runs in the bottom of the second for the 16-0 lead. The game ended on the 15-run rule after the Raiders were held scoreless in the top of the third.
Kya Rollinger had three hits, including a triple and double, and three RBIs. Anna Hoekman also had three hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Kaylee Siemonsma ended with three singles and an RBI. Madyson Determan had a home run and single with an RBI. Klein and Charlie Blommer both had a single and double each with an RBI. Amelia Sinding ended with two singles and an RBI. Jordyn Wehde had a home run with two RBIs, and Ellie Pickett had a single and an RBI.

The hit parade continued for the Bulldogs in the second game against Centerville. They had a total of 17 hits while scoring in every inning but the second inning. The Bulldogs had five runs in the top of the first for an early 5-0 lead. After a scoreless second inning, they added another run in the third, five more in the fourth, and one in the fifth for 12-0 lead. The game ended on the 10-run rule after the fifth inning.
Klein allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out nine Centerville batters. Rollinger had three hits, including a home run and double, with four RBIs. Sinding had three hits, one a double, with three RBIs. Pickett and Wehde both had two hits and an RBI each. Klein ended with a single and double. Siemonsma had two singles. Determan, Skylar Wehde, and Brielle Nelson all had one hit each.
