The Baltic Bulldog softball team faced a tough West Central Trojan team in Hartford on Thursday, April 11th. The Trojans scored in every inning and defeated Baltic 16-1.
West Central scored just one run in the bottom of the first inning, but broke out for six runs in the second, five in the third, and four more in the fourth. The Bulldogs scored their lone run in the top of the fourth inning. H Kortemeyer scored on a double steal.
M Determan had the lone hit for the Bulldogs. C Blommer pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed 10 earned runs on six hits and nine walks. R Peters pitched one inning and gave up six runs on eight hits.
